At CIC Energy Corp.’s Mmamabula Energy Complex at its Mmamabula Coal Field in southeastern Botswana, Africa, the following projects are planned for development:

In July 2012, CIC Energy announced it had entered into a binding agreement with Jindal Steel and Power Ltd regarding a potential takeover at CDN$2.00 per share. The transaction is expected to close no later than October 2012, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions.
CIC Energy’s Export Coal Project intends to export seaborne traded steam coal from the Mmamabula Coal Field to a port on the west coast of southern Africa.
In addition to the Export Coal Project, CIC Energy has two power projects, the 300 MW Domestic Power Project intended to supply electricity to Botswana, and the 1200 MW Mmamabula Energy Project envisaged to export power to South Africa.
CIC Energy’s Coal-to-Hydrocarbons Project intends to convert coal to low sulphur diesel fuel and associated products.
CIC Energy has been listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (ELC:TSX) and on the Botswana Stock Exchange (CIC Energy: BSE) since 2006.
